Season Update

Due to COVID-19 stay at home orders and player safety concerns, we are unable to complete the 2020 Spring Season as outlined. As a result, we kindly request that you complete the form below by May 4 to address how we should apply your spring registration. If no response, a credit will be automatically applied to your account.

We can apply your spring registration fee to your account towards a future season, or if you elect not to participate, we can offer a refund. Please complete the form to designate how to apply spring registration; this is the only way a few volunteers can systematically respond to hundreds of requestsPlease allow several weeks for processing. We are grateful for your cooperation.

Many complex facets were considered in this decision. Although Little League International established May 11 as the earliest date for a potentially delayed season, this worldwide parameter does not approve a specific date suited for all 6500 leagues, states, or 84 countries, which are in different stages of the pandemic. In the event LL allows other countries or states to play, Northwest will follow CDC guidelines and IL State mandates, which prevents participation this Spring season. We hope to see you in the fall!

Our board misses players, coaches, and families. NWLL, District 13, and Little League International continue to work together to provide potential options. An extended fall season would mirror spring season prices to reflect the length, while a traditional season would remain comparable to previous years in dates and registration fees. Information and options will passed along once available. At present, everything hinges on safety. We encourage families to play catch at home until it is safe to return to fields.

Spirit wear will be offered at a later date. Lou Malnatis fundraisers will be addressed on the questionnaire and in a subsequent email. Raffle tickets and prizes cannot be offered this season. If you sold tickets, please use your discretion how to proceed and reach out to individuals you sold to at your convenience.

Elite and travel programs will be contacted separately.

We truly appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time, and wish you all positive health and well-being.

Not just a little league. We are a community.
